savingholmes and shakespeare, gorgeous hampers, just brilliant:T :T
Big welcome brookeslay, lovely to see you here. Your hamper ideas sound fantastic.
Sorry I'm no help re the pamper hamper but it's something I've not had any dealings with. Some of the lovely ladies will be along with great suggestions in a bit though I'm sure.0 -
brookeslay I got it from Confetti.com here is a link (I hope it works!) it was a bargain at only £1.99 plus postage, and it's really cute and a good size too. If you click on the link half way down the page which says Promotion Baby Bonanza there are some others that are cute too. HTH

Enjoy!
Thanks so much for the links savingholmes
(and to Rusty for the initial posts.) I haven't seen pipe cleaners since (and this is just from memory, which is a bit ropy lol) my dear old Mum used to curl hair with them
(That doesn't look right does it? But if you imagine bendy rollers but in pipe-cleaner form, you might have an idea, I hope lol
) and just wanted to say what a great idea the hamper you made for an elderly relative is. (You've been busy looking at all those pictures
)
I've no elderly relatives left to buy for
but I'm knocking on a bit myself
, so I might print the contents for the foot hamper out in huge lettering and leave near my OH. My feet need a treat some days

Wrapped
There are several things inside the basket too which you cant see, I have really enjoyed shopping for this and putting it all together, I have another one exactly the same to finish wrapping for my dd who is due in 7 weeks, it's all sooo exciting.
I don't think my cello is up to the standard I have seen on here but I did my best there was so much of it! I just did it all up once and didn't mess with it.
What a stunning hamper Shakespeare3 ..! It's one of the best baskets I've seen posted, and for only a second attempt, is near on perfect
I'd be chuffed to receive one (not that I ever will mind
) but even more over the moon if I could actually make a hamper as pretty as that
The cello's fine and the positioning of the bow is perfect - something I've never been able to achieve lol. Well done and best wishes to the Mums-to-be. xOh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -

Thanks so..... much that it very kind of you to tell me :A
Wow thats was such a bargain its looks much more expensive and such a lucky find. I did my OH`s birthday party last year and bought some bits from Confetti . I did a Black, White and stars theme. I found things all over the place and got I`ve loads left ( ebay beckons I think ).
You will have to take a picture of your step daughter recieving it I bet her face wil be really chuffed. I doubt my MIL would do anything as nice for me , I have had vouchers for as long as I can remember but I still enjoy giving things to people. Just have to be more careful moneywise this year !
Cheers again B x0 -

How do you wrap them and where do you get the plastic to do it?
Thanks,

Hi
I use www.flowerhour.co.uk for most things, but some posters use other sellers. There's a few ideas on wrapping if you look around that site. hth Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -
Its my Mam's birthday tomorrow and she had a little tea party earlier so I decided to give her pressies today. She loved the Candy bouquet so I was really pleased but I did start to panic earlier because I didn't thing I had enough for her. So I had a look in my hamper box and managed to put the followings things together in a hamper for her and it only took 30 mins !
China mug with Mum and a verse on
Bubble bath
Teabags
Slipper socks
Bath Bomb
Framed photograph of her and Stepdad
I was really pleased with the way it turned out because I had not planned it all x

Evening all
Ive got so much to tell you im trying to remember it all as i type.
1) 3 woven baskets in Matalan sale down to £6 they are in many different colours and are of a good size.
2) Tesco are doing scrap booking decoration packs and crafting items to make cards prices averaged at about £2.50
3) Wilkinsons have thier christmas stock in and it looks great! Yesterday I bought a pack of Ultimate eye shadows which were 4 palettes each with 3 colours in them for £1.99 so im going to split them between hampers!
4) Yesterday I got my package from a company who ive been reviewing online. It took me 2 days of writing to complete the full ranks i got loads of presents which would be ideal for use in a hamper. If anyone wants more info about this please pm me as I dont think I can post it here.
5) In store sell 6 flannels for £1 they come in 2 colour choices brown and cream and blue and white
Think thats it but if I remember any more ill let you know.

I'd love to recieve a basket for xmas. i hope some of my friends and rellies come on this site and get some ideas..I'm not going to feel like giving my baskets away when they're finished:rotfl:
I'd really love to do my friend and her bf an 'American' themed hamper for xmas as they are planning their honeymoon there for next year and i'm not sure what to put in it..
i thought map and travel book but beyond that i'm stumped. Has anyone got any ideas?
Hi, for some American goodies, check out this site:http://www.americansweets.co.uk/
I have used them in the past for some of the American sweets & cereals I loved as a kid, and they are a great company. An American themed basket would be great with some of their bits & bobs in .0
