Paid off old loan to take out a new one ( well i thought i did )
Help Needed Please :-)
I originally had a loan with no problems, i decided i wanted to borrow extra money. So i applied successfully for another loan, and i was given the settlement fee needed to pay off the old loan and the remaining balance was put into my account:j within four days.
Great within the four day the money was in my account along with a letter stating that the previous loan had been paid in full and my new loan will be paid into my account
But they had paid it in twice:eek: so i notified them straight away about there mistake, no apology nothing they had no idea they had paid it into my account twice:mad: so i had to write them a cheque to take it back out of my account.
So i thought that was all sorted, but this week had an automated phone call saying that i was in arrears with my previous loan:mad:
So contacted customer service and explained everyting, and they apologised and said there was a mistake on there part and that i was not in arrears.
But i have had another 3 phone calls and 2 letters demaning i pay my arrears, so i went through there complaints department yeaterday and they did not get back to me  So after another automated phone call this morning rang them back . And was told that it had been investigated and there is a letter on it's way, stating that it was an error on their part and that they were giving me £25 for the inconvenience. But i have still got to pay the arrears plus my new loan this month:mad:
