Ooh and also I found the first post on this thread really helpful ,though do be aware of the date (2008 - so things may be a little different) but it gives advice on reviewing.

    Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

It's not the site it used to be and the amount of money you can earn from the site is minimal compared to the sheer volume of work you have to do - especially since they closed the exchange and screwed many people out of their contracts.

They pay you in cents and dollars as well now, so you have to allow for the exchange rate.

In a nutshell, taking the site at an average, you'd have to review 100 songs to earn $10 dollars. Considering you're forced to listen to the first 2 minutes of each song, that's a minimum of 3 hours, 20 minutes of work to earn $10 dollars - which is about £6 quid in pounds.

So that equates to £2 per hour ..

If you're doing it for the music and to invest in artists then fair enough, but even that is ultimately pointless now since you no longer get to share in the profits (unless the artist actually makes a commitment to do that themselves).

So I'd certainly look elsewhere if you're after earning a few quid.
