Can I Freeze Celery and Stilton Soup?

Options
I've got a large piece of Stilton and some celery both sitting in the fridge. I thought I could get ahead of the game by turning it into soup and storing it in the freezer for one of my "can't be bothered cooking" days. However, I wondered whether the Stilton flavour might become a bit too intense or, even worse, would it become inedible! Does anyone successfuly freeze this type of soup?

    Hi organic wannabe,

I haven't made celery and stilton soup before, but I have frozen brocolli and stilton with no problems.

  • Hi, I've frozen cauliflower cheese soup with no problem. When you thaw it, it might look as if it's curdled, but when you've warmed it up, it'll go smooth again.

    HTH.
