Credit Rating V Loan Advice needed

Hi Guys

I was wondering if I could have some advice as not sure whats the best thing for me to do..

I have 3 credit cards that I am only paying off just over the minimum each month which isn't getting me anywhere,

I only bought my house 12 months ago (single mum of 2 aged 36) so have been waiting for my credit file and score to go up since I had lots of searches, and changes which meant my score dropped.

After checking last night its now showing as 'Good' on both major credit reference agencies. I have a small loan finishing at £75 per month in June and can't decide if the following -

1) will the loan ending increase my score considerably giving me more points to getting a better loan rate OR

2) the score I have is enough to get me an okay rate to clear all 3 cards and close the accounts?

The other consideration I have is next month my car insurance is due so I am bound to end up having more searches, will this mean I am back to square one and should just go for it now

any advice and help would be appreciated before I take the plunge!!

Thanks
