Credit Expert Price

Hi all,

any ideas why credit expert is now charging 14.99 a month instead of 5.99?

Not enough people were paying for the extra useless services.

So they over double the price, and then say "we are giving you all these extra services for free". They obviously think people are mugs.

I think they are letting some current or returning members continue on the old price for a while?

it does state you can request the report and the score as many times as you like included in the 14,99 a month, rather then paying separately.

may also be that they did all those deals/cashbacks/free trials to get people on board so they want to recoup their losses! also for those who meant to cancel at the end of the free trial and forgot (like we usally do!) to get some of their money back

The 'big extra' Credit Expert advertise for the increase in price to £14.99 is the credit score. I was unconvinced, so I cancelled with them and signed-up with CPP. I still get free access to my Experian credit report, plus CPP's Identity Protection service, for £5.99.

...and guess who CPP is? Yup it's Experian...suckaaaaa! From exactly the same building...CPP are the safety net designed to look like a cheap competitor to the big brand.

I dunno, I guess people are just a bit thick, but when I signed up there, there wasn't any small print that said they would charge at the end of the free trial, there was a big bloody notice that you had to tick your agreement against making it quite clear what you were getting into.

...and when people complain about how hard it is to cancel...go to help...type in 'cancel'...full instructions provided with freephone number.

Oh and do we all know about the little cheat that legitimately allows unlimited free trials...I'd spill the beans except the moderators here don't like me telling you.
