I've just visited a friend in Ipswitch, they had all the different types there, also in London where I am they have all the different types and I have a friend in Essex and family in Staffs I could ask too- I was under the impression all the different types exist everywhere- sometimes stores will only have a certain type (which just means visit a different store, not a different county!)

Be interested to hear if anyone else can get all the different types where they are as you always used to be able to.

Was in the massive Tesco just outside the city center, its in all major stores AFAIK, the magazine itself has not said "only certain stores" and normally free gifts like this are in every store- its a fairly obvious one to see when you pick up the mag so easy to tell if its been swiped by a shoplifter or not anyhow.

Could anyone confirm whether Marie Claire subscription copies are sent with cover gifts? First post in this thread says that cover gifts are not sent, but I just phoned up the subscription department who said they do send free gifts with sub copies :huh:

Well thats odd- the last two subscriptions I had from Marie Claire did not have the free gifts with the mag. One subscription was about 18 months ago the second was for 3 issues and about 6 months ago. Unless they have changed their minds the free gifts are not with subscription copies, are you sure they weren't talking about the sign up free gift which is sent? Are you also sure you spoke to someone from Marie Claire themselves and not a third party subscribers rep? They may not be aware as it is quite unique that Marie Claire don't give subscribers the free gifts when most/all others do.

Maybe someone with an current or more recent subscription to Marie Claire could confirm or not what the current deal is with that?

Hi I do have a subscription with Marie Claire and they do not send the free gifts with the subscription issues. Its a ashame really as lately they have had some really nice free gifts
