Not sure where to put this so if its wrong can someone please move it for me.
i went onto the sainsburys websites and they have this notice for farepak customers
We want to make a goodwill gesture to those who were saving for Sainsbury’s vouchers through the Farepak scheme. Our intention is to donate 25% of the amount that Farepak customers were saving towards Sainsbury’s vouchers.
As an example, if a Farepak customer was saving towards £100 in Sainsbury’s vouchers and an additional £200 in other vouchers (either vouchers for another retailer or Choice/ Bonus Bond vouchers), we are intending to send them 25% of what they were saving towards our vouchers – in this example, £25 worth of Sainsbury’s vouchers.
We intend to distribute these vouchers via Farepak’s agents, trusting them to ensure that the vouchers are properly distributed to those who were saving for Sainsbury’s vouchers.
We have no involvement with Farepak and hold no responsibility for its collapse, but we were very concerned about what has happened to their customers. We are making this goodwill gesture to try and help. We are aware that Farepak customers will need as much help as possible in this sad situation and we're pleased to note the increasing number of companies and individuals pledging support to the Farepak Response Fund.
