hi
I want to place an order for an item that is "out of stock" on the john lewis website, however our most local store in manchester does actually have it in stock. does anyone know if there are any codes around that can be used for ordering over the telephone?
I would be very grateful for your help. thanks.

"sheoffer" and "compuactive0806" seems to work online if you spend over £50 - it gets you £10 off. its valid till 30th June 2007.
"inspirations" for orders over £75, get you £10 off and free delivery. This expires 31 Dec 2006.
both these offers say you cannot use the codes in store - it doesn't say anything about over the phone, so your can try??!0 -
spend over £100 you get free delivery but enter "novoffer" you get an extra £5 off... online only.

Just ordered an internet radio for £169, and got £13.95 off by using the code "inspirations" - Thanks for that0 -
I have a John Lewis code and apologise if it's been listed here before, but I just found a book of discount vouchers when tidying up - no idea where they came from!
The voucher is supposed to be used for first online order with John Lewis, but I've never found this a problem, have ordered many times with 'first time order' codes on Figleaves!
