Northern Rock next steps

in Mortgages & endowments
Remortmaging my btl property and the valuation took place on Monday and the valuation report was in northern rocks hand yesterday.

I can assume an offer will be made next week? How quick are Northern Rock?? Any past experience here?

So far no problems with Northen Rock.

    Usually after valuation NR get an offer out sharpish assuming there is nothing wrong with the valuation i would say 3-4 working days max after final checks have been done on the case.

    They dont need to do another credit check. Once you have the offer they have done all they need to do

    Okay thanks.

    Just waiting for the solicitors to sort out the paper work now. Hopefully I should hear back from them on Thursday. Had to chase up again today as they told me last Friday that they hadn't recevied my tenancy agreement, which I posted two weeks ago and sent by email on Monday. Have re-sent it to them and they have confirmed receipt.

    Fingers crossed.

    no reason.

    Tick tock tick tock... northern rock have confirmed with solicitors that they are happy to proceed - this was on monday - now the solicitors need to write to the tenants saying that if I default then they can repossess... dragging on and still waiting for completion date.

    I think I'm close to completion but it feels like an age. :eek:

    Another update for any one who reads this thread.

    Received a letter today from the solicitors saying that northern rock would like me to confirm that I will comply with the tenant notices once I renew the AST etc etc... emailed a letter saying I will comply. They should put this on the system tomorrow and hopefully they will call me on Monday to set a completion day.
