Cleaning a carry-cot

My youngest DS is now too big for his carry cot and I want to spruce it up a bit before storing it in the loft (just in case we have another - LOL). It is fairly clean and I can take out the mattress and wash it, but there is a padded cloth bit lining the inside which I can't remove. What would you OS'ers use to clean the fabric with? Any suggestions gratefully received.

[strike]Many[/strike] a few years ago I did the same thing with mine...
I put it in the bath and basically soaked it using the shower head. I used washing powder (one for colours) and worked it into the fabric with a washing up brush. Again using the shower head, rinse and rinse and rinse to ensure you've removed any washing powder residue.
I think the key is drying it thoroughly before putting it into the loft...maybe leave it beside a radiator for a few days. turning occasionally.

On a similar vein. We pressure washered ours in the summer, which helped it dry! Came up lovely. We also did that with the buggy we had and that worked too.
