Best Interest only 5yr Fixed - any ideas ?

Hi Everyone,

We are shortly (in the new year) going to start the ball rolling and move house. Unfortunately, of course, interest rates have just gone up, but I was wondering if anyone had come across any good fixed rate mortgage deals recently?

I will have enough deposit for <85% LTV (probably 84%). I would like a fixed rate deal for 5-7 years, probably interest only to keep payments low in that period of time until salaries increase to a level where more can paid off and repayment is an option.

Of course, as many freebies as possible are a plus (free valuation, lender higher rate charge paid etc) but not to the detriment of a lower rate. I am not averse to paying admin fees of up to, say, £800, but would only do so if I was sure that the rate was a good 'un.

Cheers !
