Hi Serialthrilla. I bought mine from Amy Yeung. She has a Buy it now' price of £5 or you can make an offer. I made an offer of £4 and it was accepted. I asked her to e-mail the code, as I paid by Paypal, rather than wait for her to post it. I have activated the code without any problems.

Hi Guys
When you purchase the card for a year this way, do Tastecard take your credit/debit card details?
I want to get a card with on of these codes, but I'm really worried about the auto renewing at £70 which seems to be their standard practice:

Looks like a good deal getting one off ebay however...
I’ve noted that on the t&cs printed on the card that are up for sale on ebay it says that the card must be redeemed before the 28th Feb 2011. It says the same on the tastecard website (if you follow the link given on the card).
Was that the same for any of the cards that people bought off ebay, and if so did they still work after the 28th?
Cheers!0 -

The one I bought on Ebay is redeemable before 31st July.
I activated mine last night without any problem.0 -
I've seen some comment that a lot of the ones on eBay have been stolen from Carphone Warehouse (probably by staff). They're currently running a promotion under which these cards are sent out with PAYG phones costing more than £44.95.
How to get your free 12 month tastecard
When you get your new phone you should get a tastecard scratch card with it.- Scratch off the panel on the card to reveal your unique eight digit code
- Visit www.tastecard.co.uk/redeem and enter your unique eight digit code and details as requested
- Click 'send me my free card'
These instructions are also printed on the scratch card.0 -

|It probably is Carphone Warehoiuse staff selling these cards, but all you need is the 8 digit code to apply for the Tastecard. You don't need proof of phone purchase.0 -
I have just had my fingers burnt by tastecard.Their automatic renewel email (apparently) was sent to me last month but I have not received it so they just took £29.95 anyway.
I joined them a few years ago and have always recommended the card but would warn people against signing up with them and handing over credit card details.I have been snooping on the internet and found out that I am not the only disgruntled customer-some people have managed to get refunds from their banks becasue of tastecards shady terms and conditions.
I telephoned them and explained that I did not want to card any more (I am unemployed at the moment but fully intended to rejoin once employment had commenced) but they said it was my fault as I had not notified them within 7 days.
To cut a long story short I would definitely go down the ebay route and pay just a few pounds for one but DO be careful if you are signing up for a full year with credit card details entered on the official website -they won't think twice about taking your money without proper notification.:(0 -
Do you need to enter credit card details using an ebay code?0
