Tea stain on woolen jumper

Hi Does anyone know how to get the tea stain out it was left to dry by our darling little girl.
The jumper has been to the dry cleaners but no joy.
Please can anyone help.

    If the stain is older, then you may need to soak it for longer (eg. overnight) in a laundry stain remover or borax solution. Glycerine rubbed into the fabric can also be used to loosen the stain before washing.
    I THINK is a whole sentence, not a replacement for I Know

    If that doesn't work how about dying the jumper a darker colour.

    Trouble with that is that the stain will take the dye differently so you'll end up with a darker jumper with a darker stain on it. Dyeing seldom covers up stains, unfortunately.
