  • Thanks Oscar,
now I don't feel as bad!
I think I must have been checking the reviews on the PSP version
    of the second game.
The kids will be chuffed whatever - I hope.

I bought this dvd from Asda today for only £9.70. Unlike Woolies who are advertising it at £9.69 but only if you spend £10 on another dvd. I got the POTC - Curse of the Black Pearl for £6 (or 2 for £10)

It's advertised at £13.97 online at Asda. The one I got was also the 2 disc special edition.

Many thanks re the heads up on this. I had seen the DVD double set for £9.70, and planned to buy one for Christmas, but I wouldn't have known it was a one week only price if I hadn't read it here, nor that I could get the ps2 game on a linked deal.
Just got back with dvd and ps2 game - for the same price as the game alone has been in Tesco
It disappeared from their shelves about a week ago - another present I meant to buy, but by the time I had the money, it had vanished - well now I have got it for a great price !!!!

    Warning/advice to other Asda shoppers.
Today I was told that they would not swap anything unless I had a receipt - even though the item was still in the plastic wrapping ! - I have never had this problem before, new policy
But, there is a notice saying you can ask for a gift receipt to send out with a present, which doesn't show the price on it, abd they will honour this gift receipt for 28 days AFTER 25th Dec - so worth getting if you are buying presents.
Also, game comes unsealed. sa put disc and instructions in case, BUT they will put a security seal on it if you ask.
    HTH others
