It's one of my life's ambitions to own Rigby and Pellar underwear! maybe I'll buy some in lieu of the fact I don't need any for my wedding day...

The best strapless bra I've ever found is the new Wonderbra Ultimate strapless bra. It has a low front bit so you can show off cleavage. (Rather than a lot of 'big boobed' strapless bras which tend to be bandeau style) I am a 32F/FF, unfortunately the 32F was slightly too small for my boobs - gutted cause they don't go any bigger! They definitely stayed in place when I jumped up and down, and even stayed in when I bent in half (rag doll yoga position). Debenhams stock them if you wanted to go and try one on. Oh and it was comfy too - just felt like a normal bra. (I plan on trying one on again when I have lost a tiny bit of weight and am not due on my period in the hope I can get one to fit!)

    *edit*
Ha I just read everyone elses replies and I've pretty much repeated the others!

    Do it :)

I wish I'd done it years ago to be honest; I actually have far more energy now I don't constantly have back ache (I am an H cup; but a small back size) :o If I look at how much a pair of normal shoes costs for OH; I don't feel bad about the outlay at all. My clothes sit better, I don't have the cheese-wire marks on my shoulders, I feel better and I can actually run without them escaping :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You do wear it every day after all. :)

I'm a 32F and the only one i've found so far that fits me perfectly is the moulded strapless bra by Gorgeous, I got mine from Debenhams

My bra was only (!) £45 actually... But the one i bought for more day to day wear (which is the best bra i've ever owned and is very comfy) was £70...

I chose a dress with straps as I definitely wanted to wear a bra with my 32E boobies. Actually it turns out now that my dress is so well desgined and supportive that I shall be going bra-less for the first time in my life, which will be in my church in front of our minister and my husband to be! I feel such empowerment!

    Hi alarafan,
Wondering if you are still preferring to go for a basque over a bra? It really depends on your dress and how you feel I suppose, although i was very impressed with all the posts above about supportive dresses! If you still are thinking about a basque, after looking around like you did and finding one on Bravissimo at £60 - over my budget too, I bought the same Panache Masquerade Hestia basque in ivory for £43.49 inc postage BNWT on ebay (with detachable straps and suspenders). I don't know if this is the same make you saw on Bravissimo, or if it's still more than you would want to spend, but I can absolutely recommend it - it's beautiful, surprisingly comfortable and very supportive as well as flattering. I got a 30DD as they didn't have my size (32D). The seller said its a 'firm fit' - she was right! Although, as a 30DD, I would guess you are slighter than I am - I too was a 30DD before I put on a stone of happy weight after getting engaged lol, but I can still do it all up (and have 3 and a bit months left lol) so you should be fine with your normal size. HTH x
don't let the b*stards get you down or you might have to live in a bin - <<< this could be you! :)
