Just an update.

We had another letter today from AK which looks rather like a response to a CCA request. Bit of a result as I didn't request a CCA so they have saved me a quid:

Dear xxxxxxxxxxx

I refer to your recent correspondence, regarding the above referenced account.

This letter serves to acknowledge receipt of your correspondence and to confirm that the matters raised are being reviewed and investigated. We have contacted the original creditor, Barclaycard - Littlewoods Personal Finance, with a view to obtaining copies of the original documentation pertaining to this account.

Once we receive a response from them, we will contact you with the same.

In the meantime, I have placed your account on hold and it will remain so until I am able to bring the matter to a satisfactory conclusion.

I trust the above meets with your requirements. If i can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I wish them the very best of luck with that. :rotfl:

i was a manager at Aktiv Kapital for almost 8 years.
i will be more than HAPPY to tell you just how to get out of this.

all the debts they have are MOSTLY stat barred. this means you dont have to pay a penny. and as for the old line 'you remmeber the debt' so its starts from now.... is bull dish.

if 6 years from the default date (the lender) the debt then falls of your credit report. this means that it wont affect you getting credit again. secondly, they can do anything to get the money back, leander or debt company.

as for offering you a silly discount to get cleared... stop and ask yourself why they would give so much money away.... its because they hope you dont know enough about the banking code and credit agreements to tell THEM how to do there job.

this company fired me for no reason because i never kissed butt and spoke up.
the new 'person' inchange has made a 6.1mil a month comapny into a 1.2mil a month comapny... he must be really good at his job.!!!!!! lol

I'd take your personal info and email out of your post though
