Hi Everyone,
We are moving house next friday and i wonder if anyone has any tips or ideas.
I have rang round and found a cheap van for £30 a day so my f.i.l is going to drive that as the thought of me driving a van is scary.
I have trouble parking my mums car (fiat Brava)
if Has any one got any tips it would be much appreciated

i dont think there is a lot to moneysave when it comes to rented, aside from making up a few meals that can be frozen and knocked up in the microwave so you dont end up with takeaways etc while you are waiting for oven to be connected.
If you have overpaid your council tax, make sure you write to them and let them know where you have moved to- you may get a refund. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Have you got plenty of boxes? I usually pick up boxes from supermarkets and use towels and sheets to wrap everything up instead of bubble wrap.
We moved ourselves last time too and it was exhausting! But don't let that put you off- it's well worth it when you consider the money saved.Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24
