I've started to sort myself out..

today is the first day of my new life!!!!!!

thanks to the great advice given to me last week from people on here I am starting my spend diary today, robbed a small book from work (saved me £1) to write down my spending

Will be a hard week as I only have £2.80 left until payday on Saturday so it has to last me 5 days. All I need to buy really is a birthday card for my mum so i am quite confident .

I sat down with my boyfriend at the weekend and discussed what debt I am in, he knew i was in debt but just not how much. I told him we need to stop eating out on a fri nite, sat morn, sat lunch, sat nite, sun morn and start cooking for ourselves therefore saving money. He has promised to start helping me a bit more with petrol as he doesnt drive.

I have spoke to MBNA who were lovely and have frozen all charges on my credit card till after christmas so i can pay back what is over my credit limit then sort something out with them at the end of January.

Spoke to vanquis and explained my situation to them, they have changed the date my payments are due by to the day after payday so i have money to pay them.

So fingers crossed i will be fine over christmas and then come 27th January, 1st payday after christmas I can start sorting meself out.

thanks guys for ur help

xx

I am goin to try and spend only £80 of this a month and the other £60 can go to paying off the credit card.

Come the end of January I will have a bit more money to pay off my bills with and payments for internet and car insurance going down quite a bit.

You should be able to cancel the PPI on a loan during it's lifespan, it will come off future payments, but you won't get refunded the ones you've already made - don't know about claiming on being mis-sold PPI though.
