Hi could anyone help me, i have a debt from four years ago from a prevouis address, recently cabot have put it on my credit file, on my present address, are they allowed to do this. I have rang them and they say they can..........

    Your credit file is personal to you not an address. Any debts / credit accounts from previous addresses will still show on your credit file.
