Hello I hope i've done this right, I'm still very new to posting. At the weekend i tried making apple jelly and it all seemed to go well but it hasn't set at all. It's still liquid, and as it was the first time i made it i've made way too much  , so does anyone have any ideas what i could do with the liquid??? (i can't bring myself to throw away 3 jam jars full of it).

You could put it back into the pan and boil it for a bit longer until it reaches setting point. If you don't want to do that, you could use it in sauces and gravies.

Don't worry we all have our blank moments and this is a great place to fill in the blanks and not get too much ridicule.

It might be wrthwhile adding some lemon juice for extra pectin, which will help it set.
Apples don't normally need extra pectin, but if I ever have jam/jelly that doesn't set, lemon juice seems to help.0 -
Thank you for all the help, i have boiled it again and added some lemon juice and this seems to have fixed the problem.
