betty crocker shake to make pancake mix

sainsburys have got the betty crocker shake a pancake mix on offer for 99p (or £1 can't remember!) but also on the back of each bottle there is a 30p off voucher. I took mine off and used it when i paid. the voucher does say from 9th march but it worked today.

(be aware though that the 'instructions' on how to use the pancake mix are on the voucher not that they can get much easier!)

74p at Morrisons at the moment and they've got the vouchers attached :) 24p lemon juice and 48p golden syrup to go with them, yum

Alternatively buy the plastic bag packet of batter mix from either Tesco or Sainsburys for approx 7p. Yes, it's just flour but so too I guess, is Betty Crocker stuff! We like it because the time it saves finding the scales, gettting them out, finding the bag of flour and shoe horning it out of the cupboard then measuring it out then squeezing everything back in is invaluable to us...and all for 7p ;)

I quite like cooking but realised many years ago that weighing and measuring is not my forte ;) that doesn't make for very nice pancakes or cakes! :rotfl:

yeah i know i know!!:p actually its just add water - which i'm always going to have, unlike the egg or milk other than a drop thats been there to long, and you don't have to leave it to stand to make them taste better or fluffier or what ever it does.
and actually we make them every year and i don't think any one in our family even really likes them!!:rotfl:

I'll make about a dozen. For me, OH and DD. :o

But the main dinner we cut down accordingly as we know we'll pig out, lol

They are £1 in Tesco too (and thanks for reminding me about the voucher, I'll rescue that from the recycling in a minute!) We had them last night and they were fine, I was a bit dubious about the added sugar, but we put sugar and lemon on them anyway.
