free drink and free kids meal in morrisons cafe

Don't know if this has already been posted but from mon - fri after 4 you can get a free kids meal with a purchase of an adult meal. These kids meals contain sandwiches/fish fingers/ nuggets/ cheeseburger with chips and beans plus capri sun, cadburys choc bar, bag of apples and grapes and a colouring book. But you can still get this deal if you use the "free drink with an adult meal" deal. Therefore I got all the stuff in the kids meal, one adult meal and a regular coke for £3.39. Think we'll be eating there more often

how much is a typical adults meal and whats the free drink offer?

£3 to £4.75 and the drink is any hot drink or medium soft drink from pump or apple/orange juice. The kids menu isn't hugely healthy I agree but ok as a treat. I normally give my dd the fruit bag and hide the chocolate.

This has been posted before...but I'll just add you can actually eat as a family of 4 for £5,
After 4pm the adult meals are on meal deals so for £5 you can get2 adult meals of jacket potato with choice of filling & salad with either a hot drink or fizzy drink, plus each adult gets a free childs meal to accompany it.

Or for £6 there are things like adults sausage, egg, chips & beans, for at total of £8 you can get a combination of 2 adults meals including lasagne, liver & onions with mash, fish & chips, curry, can't remember what else, plus the 2 accompanying children eat free, meal, drink, fruit pack and chocolate bar.

The kids menu is not that healthy, but you can have peas instead of beans, mash instead of chips and its a treat not an everyday meal.

Not wishing to cause offence to anyone but I wouldn't eat food in my local Morrisons. I would rather not eat at all. The food in the Morrisons "restaurant" near me is akin to papier mache.

According to the 'National Fish & Chip Awards' website, Morrisons won the 2011 award for:

'Best Foodservice Outlet Serving Fish and Chips Award'

I've had F&C from a couple of their stores and it was OK, but nowt startling.

I gotta agree. IMO, they do the best breakfasts of the three main supermarkets (despite trying to fit it on a side plate).
