can totally understand where your coming from. Once you have seen all the information to back it all up and the figures made over the last four years in some of the worst economic climates it all makes sense. banks use this all the time. from 5pm every night till 9am our money is used to trade and also when we cash a cheque. it doesnt take 3-5 days to clear, the bank uses this time to make money on our money. in the case of people loosing money, they dont! business spend thousands a year to advertise in yellow pages etc and are not guaranteed business from this. cashbax is a marketing tool for businesses. they pay to use us as marketing, at the end of the day even if we do 'fold' they sold a product at full price rather than with a discount and gained a new customer. the buyer got their product and can claim their money at any time. all be it this only really works for companies that give discounts on products. which to be fair is most at the moment. i would just like to say i didnt take this descision lightly and dont expect results straight away, look at the longer picture. once you have signed one business up, every item they sell on the cashbax scheme then becomes mine. i have a whole area to myself with no competing or fighting between team mates. you also get out what you put in. this is my choice and you have yours....just dont knock something you dont understand it. thanks melanie0

If making 4% per month was so easy why don't our government invest in it ? Forex is a very risky business, which is why a good investor would use Forex as a small part of their investment portfolio with also safer other investments eg government gilts etc etc.
Some people have made money on Forex over the last few years and also plenty of people have also lost money, this will continue happening in the future.
You can say this about anything,
The Gov, is in the Forex market, who do you think controls the price of the £ ?
I have not looked at Cashbax at all, but you comment is far off the mark.
Investing money on the Forex is a very risky business, Thats why they use money/risk management, its very risky if you dont know what your doing.
I was about to go thru ur post point by point, but forget it mse is becoming a shoot to kill forum, anyone that has a different view to the common mse'er is shot down,
Maybe these Cashbax people are making a bucket shop like oanda(if they still are:) ) or maybe not, or maybe they have offered money to a bucket shop in return of a fixed fee, the bucket shop then attract more "traders" as they have the liquid money on board to "trade".
and on the other hand they are still making a % from the firm on each "cashbax" transaction
Just wait and see which firm signs up to this Cashbax, Its kinda like when quidco came out alot of people had the same views, untill mse and other sites started to push it,0 -

Quidco cashbacks are financed in full by the retailer, they do not rely on a potential return from a Forex Investment that also has the opportunity to go down as well as up.
Have a look at Cashbax and also look into the previous businesses the directors are also alleged to have been involved in.
It's a company that is run from a small estate agents office in Perth it was set up in April 2011. If you have a search on the net there is plenty of back information about their history if you spend a few minutes on google.0 -
Hi I am a newbie here, so I hope I dont ruffle feathers, during my research into Cashbax I found a document called Traders Summary.pdf issued by Cashbax or the company behind them which relates to their forex trading. Should anyone wish to view the whole document who understands "algorithmic trading systems et al." and can explain it all in terms that my small brain can comprehend then I would appreciate it. It also quite clearly states on page 4, the following:
"RISK STATEMENT
The information contained within this document is provided for informational purposes and is designed to provide the basis for informed discussion between investment professionals.
There are always risks associated with investing. Regardless of past performance, there is no guarantee that the strategies used will be successful or will not incur losses.
Past performance information must never be construed as a prediction of performance in the future. An investor always must be aware that past and or present returns are no guarantee of future earnings."
A I say I have no axe to grind, all I am trying to do is understand, and am looking for an income source now I have retired. Your thoughts would be appreciated.0 -
Here is a link to the document you are referring to, a lot of it is waffle, it does not make any reference to which company they are using so their statements of figures cannot be checked. http://www.cashbaxbusiness.co.uk/downloads/TRADERS%20SUMMARY.pdf
Here is a quote from the document, can you see the possible B.S in their example
"COMPREHENSIVE DIVERSIFICATION!
Diversification is the key feature of the multi‐strategy multi‐manager investment process. Multi‐manager investing!
benefits include diversifying across FX pairs, across trading managers and trading systems, and across time frames.
This high level of diversification aims to help reduce risk and deliver consistent long term returns.
Diversification is commonly known as the practice of spreading money to help reduce risk. It is an important part
of any Investment portfolio as it can help to smooth out investment performance. P a g e |2
Example of diversification benefit:
David invests $100,000 in the ABC Fund.
John invests $100,000 across 10 different FX trading managers (including ABC).
Both investors’ portfolios are performing well until ABC's performance falls by 5%.
As a result of the fall in performance:David losses $5,000 (5% of his initial investment) but John b only losses $500
(0.5% of his initial investment)."
Cashbax are not regulated by the FSA or by anyone.
Here is another quote from the same document.

I'm not having a go at Cashbax, I would just suggest people exercise caution and if they do go in for it that they accept that there is a chance they may not get their cashback or their wages / commission0 -
Have a read of this link and see if you can spot any similarities http://www.capem-capital.com/uploads/bestanden/Manager_of_Managers.pdf
So they appear to be using this company for the investments or have just copied and pasted it taken out some parts and inserted the cashbax name
http://www.capem-capital.com/index.php?pagina=480 -
thanks dac, followed your link, the similarities are glaring even down to the example used.0

Hi melanieee, i quote from one of your messages, "Once you have seen all the information to back it all up and the figures made over the last four years in some of the worst economic climates it all makes sense.". From all that I have managed to find out a company called money bax and a forex sister company were precursors of cash ax. As Mr Cameron has stated on a forum that the forex company was test only and didn't trade, can you please inform me as to the origin of your figures, and to which company they refer.0
