Hi there, maybe worth entering all the figures where applicable and putting the rest into the emergency fund entry.

Do you really need £842 per month in benefits if you can put away £500 per month into an ISA? and a "surplus" fund of £220 a month.....

I work around 60hrs a week, take home £1,900 a month and get £300 CTC a year with 2 kids, makes my f*cking blood boil........

The benefits system in this country sucks.......It doesn't pay to work hard..

Don't think that's relevant on this thread leveller...

OP still do a detailed SOA - How much is left on your mortgage? What is the interest rate?

What is your aim with regards to the SOA?

OP is legally entitled to it so take your opinion and argument on it else where please.

I'm not saying the OP was acting ilegally , but it is Immoral to receive over £800 per month in benefits and at the same time being able to squirrel away £700 in an Isa whilst working part time when hundreds of thousands of people receive next to nothing for working all the hours God sends and not forgetting all those people who don't qualify for many benefits as they don't have children...

Even if this is a place for advice can I remind you this is a forum which by definition is a "Place for debate".The OP deleted her SOA saying it was due to an "idiotic comment" well I'm happy to debate with her/him whether my comments were idiotic or not.

It has no place on THIS board.. take it to another board where it is more appropriate if you so wish. I have several things I could say on the matter but again its not for THIS board.

    Thank you kindly
