left shaken and stirred

hey guys just a little something that happend to me today

basicly you all know my situation

well after a few months of trying to find a job and being rejected even though i have a glowing CV and i am trained very highly

i have found out that my old employer who is well connected within my city has been bad mouthing me preventing me getting a job i have no hard eveidence on this only a few soft parts so i have figured out why i am having a hard time getting a job and i am now in the process of learning something new and changing my proffession until i can get some hard evidence

anyway..after CCCS ect i have decided to go down the route of BR i beleive that going forward to make the changes i want to do in my life i need to do this

but im not 100% clued up on this subject so i went to my local CAB center

after 3 hours waiting i sat down with an elderly gent who took my details then asked my story so i said i had been in touch with CCCS and i have all my details ect

he stopped me there and said "who is CCCS" at this point i should have walked out not to know who CCCS are after all the amazeingworkthey do for this country is a sin

anyway after a bit of talking and going away to his boss he came back and said i am wasteing my tim AIB would throw my case out take my money and send me packing...now his words and not mine...."get off your !!!! try harder and get a job and fix this yourself" at this point i took my paperwork and left

this has left me quite shaken esp after 4 weeks of rebuilding my confidance and after the who job thing it has knocked me for 6

i have made another appointment with CCCS to help me with information ect

i will never be visiting a CAB office ever again

    Stu,

As I understand it, at least some of the staff in CABs are volunteers.

It's very hard for any organisation, to shall we say 'manage', volunteer workers because in the background there's always: "Why should I do as you say? I'm not getting paid."

My opinion is most organisations - and companies - have a very wide ability range in their staff.

If you get to deal with a good person, magic, everything sorted, but you've just as much chance of getting someone who is hopeless.

It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
