Magazine subscription gifts question

I have done a search but not found anything similar, so apologies if I have missed something and repeating, or if I am asking in the wrong place.

I would like to order the magazine subcriptions for gifts for Christmas. So far I have received the vouchers for the magazines but what is the best way of making them a gift? I.E. how long between me sending off the IP Magazine token does the recipient receive the first magazine? Is there anything on the first magazine that states it is a gift?

Any info would be appreciated.

I got my husband a magazine subscription for Christmas. They ask you which issue you would like to start it off with. They also send you a Christmas Card for you to give to the person so that person knows they have the magazine subscription. Hope that helps some.

Thank you, it does. I guess I ought to be sending the vouchers off now to get everything sorted by Christmas!

Edit: Actually, after re-reading my original post I didn't say that these are from the Tesco clubcard vouchers - does that make a difference?

I did a similar thing for my best friend when she found out she was expecting a baby, arranged a subscription to a mother and baby magazine for xmas, they asked what month to start from and sent me a card and some information for me to give to her. think some magazine subscriptions now give you the first issue and card to wrap up for xmas

I ordered Yours magazine for my mum. She was supposed to get an Xmas email telling her about it but all we got was the magazine stuffed into the post box.

At least it came early enough as she goes away next week for Xmas.
