Right so the problem is that I have reluctantly entered myself into a bake off competition putting an entry into the biscuit category:eek:, so last nigt went through all my recipes and made lemon and poppy seed cookies and absolutely to die for viennesse fingers half coated in dark chocolate (which ruined them!!!).
So now I have two lots of biscuits to go into the bin:mad:, and still nothing to enter into competition and no inspiration.
HELP ME old style peeps, SAVE ME please.
Anyone got any knock 'em dead recipes that work:rotfl:, as always the old back up will be TWINKS HOBNOBS (which I can and have made and knew taste fab:D.
Got to dash to work now, but will be back late this afternoon for your suggestions.

To make them a wee bit more special, make twinks and add some chopped up crystalized ginger and then half dip in dark choc once baked. Makes them a wee bit different, and even more yummy.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

Oh believe me they are bad!!! however I did managed to cut them in half cutting off the chocolate and will use them as sprinkles over ice cream, so not a total loss as such.:j DEBT FREE FROM 01/01/11 :j

You could try Empire Biscuits - there is a thread on these here

And this site has some fantastic and unusual recipes

But I must admit that my favourite is shortbread dipped in chocolate - can't beat it in my opinionBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
