I thought this sale was starting today according to Martin's newsletter but just gone to buy something and no 20% is showing online?

Site has now been updated but it's up to 20% on items, and it is only selected items...

Very strange as I've also received an email from HOF this morning telling me that the 20% was available in store AND on-line!!!

Hi Folks,

Glad i'm not the only 1 who's a little perplexed about this.
When the 'sale' was suposed to start there was no change to the site at all. yesterday the blue graphics appeared on the homepage, but still I did not see any changes in price to items that I had been watching for my better half.

Today & took a closer look & saw that in the T&Cs it said...

Offers are applicable to selected items only. The discount or free item will only appear in your basket/checkout total when you place the qualifying items in your basket.

So I loaded my basket with a selectionof full-priced items from Coast (one of the brands listed as being in the 20% offer) & saw no difference in price. I even went as far as logging-in & almost completing the sale to see if the price changed towards the end, but it did not.

I looked again a moment ago to check & scanned across the entire Coast range. I found no items that had been reduced by 20%, only items that were in the 'clearance', which has been running since the Jan sales & feature items higher than 20% discount. I also checked some other brand s such as Jaeger & Elle MAcpherson - same issue.

What's up with this? Has HOF done a boo-boo?
