Debt advice needed - please urgent

Good morning

I need some help and advice urgently please. I have 2 creditors ( CAPQUEST and 1st CREDIT) now called Connaughts Collections. They have judgements against me, but cannot provide the original credit report that I have signed. I have made the mistake of accepting these CCJ and started paying them off, when somebody said to me that these debts are older than 6 years and they have to provide the original credit agreement. Capquest wants me to attend a court hearing , which I really dont want and 1st credit have send the bailiffs ( who happens to very nice really)

What should I do? Should I ask for the courts to set the judgements aside which will cost me 2 x £75.00 and no I am a little over the threshold so I will have to pay this.

I dont have a lot of time to sort this, as the 1st credt arrived in the post yesterday and they give me till the 14 March to sort other the nice bailiff will be at my door.

Please please help.

Thanks

Hi, I don't have much experience of this but I'm sure some people who have been where you are will be along with good advice soon.

So all I can advise is 'don't let the bailiffs in' but I'm sure you know that! And most people here say that if you are making payments it very rarely goes to court and if it does the judge normally asks you to keep paying what you were already paying (if that makes sense).

Does that answer it? Anyone else got better advice?

I think if they got the CCJ's and you started to pay them you've had it :( As by starting to pay you have admitted the debt...

At least that is my understanding but i could be wrong!

    Hi

You really have not given us enough information to understand what your situation is with respect to the different debts.

I suggest you get all your paperwork together and ring NDL or CCCS .
