Official MoneySavingExpert.com insert:
On Thurs 10 & Fri 11 March, 114 Subways throughout Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire are giving away free 6" Subs when you buy a medium drink for £1ish (prices vary per shop) - so basically you're getting a drink and a sandwich for a quid!
There are no restrictions on what 6" Sub or drink you choose either, may it be steak, meatball, tuna etc (but you will have to pay for any extras i.e. extra cheese). To get your hands on the deal, check this participating Subways list and if there's one near you on there, just turn up, choose your £1ish medium drink and free sub.
There's no voucher required, the offer's just part of a Subway 10 year anniversary and is restricted to one per customer per visit. Thanks very much to wilsdon for the find!

Buy any medium drink and get a six inch sub free. In the terms it says "one per customer, per visit" so you could easily go more than once if you're that way inclined.
With regards to locations, this leaflet only mentions Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire, though the offer may span further? I suppose it would be a case of asking in your local store.
Lunch for about a quid, can't complain at that!

I'll think of all Southerners when eating mine on Friday.0 -
In bristol this weekend they were offering any footlong sub, a cookie or crisps and a drink for £5. This works out as a good deal given that I had a steak sub which costs £3.60 for a 6". Not sure if the deal is on everywhere?0

They did this offer (medium drink cost £1.19 though) last wednesday in Wood Green, London Subway. Wonder if any other London (or Nation-wide) subways be doing this?0

Offer wont be on in the stockport rd one in manchester... Just asked and she knew nothing about it..0
