Sorry to put a rant here, but peeps have got to know what is just the thin end of a very large wedge.. Bought Tesco own brand Anti-Limescale tablets - the ones like Calgon etc. Opened up the box, looked at the tablet (they come in packs of 40) and realised the tablet was smaller. I have a confession to make, when I replied to the OP I thought he/she was buying the anti-limescale tablets for the washing machine. Not having one, a dishwasher never entered my head. But I can't see why it wouldn't work in a dishwasher.

I use morrisons value (chemical) vinegar and it gets rid of limescale great.
