Hi Folks
Does anyone know a Virgin Trains promo code or any discount train fares?
Going from either Northampton or Milton Keynes to London.
The cheapest I have found is £22.90 return, not bad but I don't travel on trains often so don't know if there are any bargins to be had
Thanks

I presume that's a Saver Rtn to come back within a month... Coming back within the same day (after 9.30) its only £12.50 from MK on Silverlink (£17.50 on Virgin).
- No promotion codes but remember if you are a group of 3 or 4 you only pay for 2 (Silverlink only)sorry no links in signatures by site rules - Forum Team 20 -
Yep its a Saver Return, we are staying over night, but there are 3 of us
and I didn't know about only paying for 2 on Silverlink wow thanks! :j
will have a look at Silverlink now if I can.
Just checked the website and it says buy cheap day returns and only pay for 2.
I have tried to call to see if they will do the same deal with a over night ticket but have to go check at the station, she couldn't do it over the phone

Silverlink is the name of one rail company running trains into London.
You'll need to know what rail company runs the trains in question and take it from there.Fog on The Tyne isn't mine all mine... but if I wanted it, I'd want it with a discount code.0 -
If you are looking for value fares, Virgin has a special link HERE that usualy helps if they list the stations you want. You would have to be flexible with travelling though I think.
Midland Mainline advertise offer tickets to London from £6 single and they go through Wellingborough which I think is closish to where you want to travel from.
Some people posted about offers through https://www.printtraintickets.com/ but I'm not sure again if it is applicable to your journey.
On the subject of 3 or 4 adults travel for the price of 2 Groupsave tickets I think a large number of train operators offer them but Virgin is deffently don't. The Central Train website HERE gives details of them offering them.0 -
And if anybody is ever unsure of the train company/companies involved,
a quick timetable search on national rail enquiries will tell you that too.
All my rail travel is free so I normally just look for the quickest route.Fog on The Tyne isn't mine all mine... but if I wanted it, I'd want it with a discount code.0
