Feeling sorry for myself

Hi Guys

I hope you don't mind but I just thought I would have a bit of a winge. I've been doing quite well with the DFW Life recently -haven't used my credit card for 6 months and I've paid off my overdraft.

Now though, I've developed an absess in my mouth which is probably going to need quite a bit of dental treatment which I'm going to have to pay on my credit card:mad:

I guess it's not as bad as it could be because I'll get a bonus in Dec which I can use to pay the card off - just a bit frustrated because it was going so well (and my mouth is hurting despite v strong painkillers )

Anyway, enough moaning!

Use your bonus to pay off debts - If your teeth fall out, think about the money you'll save on toothbrushes and paste...........!!

moan away i have total sympathy for you mouth problems are soooo painful...i would go for the treatment ..it's always a the way that if you have any money spare something happens..my hubby is due money next week and guess who was informed of a damp patch on her sons ceiling....so any spare money we have from that is paying for the damp patch...but hey it aint as painful as mouth problems ...you will get there ..it takes time to get into debt and longer to get out of it ...good luck

Oh mouth ulcers are awful! Actually, anything to do with the mouth I find really painful as it's in your head...literally!

I am so sorry, I hope the treatment works and it's not too expensive. All these obstacles will only make the victory sweeter

Thanks Moozie. I'm just making some soup from a recipie I found on the Old Stle board - at least it shouldn't hurt too much to eat that & I've made enough for lunches at work this week.:money:

Awww that's so typical- you get on track with your finances and then you get hit with a bill for something or other. Hope you get it sorted, and don't give yourself a hard time- you're doing brilliantly!
