Australia - buying gift on-line

Hello, my sister is hitting the big 4 0 soon. It is her first birthday since moving to Australia. I want to send her some perfume, and I'd like it to be wrapped, but that bit isn't essential. I have been looking on-line for Australian sites. But
not sure if they are good, so I was hoping for recommendations.

Does anyone use a good site for sending gifts to Oz?

thanks

We've got friends in Oz and we use Sidney companies to send champagne to them at Christmas, avoiding international postage. They seem happy to take a UK credit card for an online purchase. We've done it about 4 times and not had any problems.

Use google.com.au and then your searches will find Australian websites.

Hi, Amazon UK are doing free super saver delivery to Oz until the 15th May if you spend over £25, and they have a fragrance section, and they do gift wrap too!
  • I made myself an ebay.com.au account, and messaged the seller of items to ask if they would pop a card in with the item when they sent it.

They were always all more than happy to do that. so im sure they would gift wrap too.

That way you can ask an actual person to do things for you, and you can pay by paypal, saving any card fees for transferring currencies.
It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'
