But one of them sells "Fujicell" batteries, claiming that they are a known brand, i.e. implying that they are connected with electronics company Fuji. As far as I can tell, there is no connection at all.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0 -
When I was looking for a new charger and batteries I bought mind from

The Uniross chargers are cheaper than anywhere else. I bought a super fast 15 minute charger (including 4 batteries) for £26.99 and its £44.99 in Argos. I bought some extra batteries to go with it at £6.99 per pack and they sell for £12.99 in Argos. Delivery charge not too bad at £2.95.

I bought my battery charger from LIDL, for under £4. It charges NiCAD and NiMH It takes all sizes: AAA, AA, C, D, PP3. It tkaes up to 4 batteries at one time which are inserted singly. It also has a test mode and, for NiCADs, a discharge button (to overcome memory effect). They did not sell the batteries though - had to go to Argos for them.0

And unfortunately Lidl won't have them any more, as they change their specials every few days.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

Found a great web site for batteries, charges etc with FREE delivery.

That link actually gives frighteningly little information. For the dry cells (disposables) it doesn't even say whether they are alkaline or not (which makes a HUGE difference). For the rechargeables, it doesn't say whether they are NiCd or NiMH, and what their capacities are - especially important for the larger types. They could be selling good stuff or absolute rubbish, and there's no way of knowing - or have I missed something?Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0
