sometimes ryan life kicks you in the nadgers, but as long as you learn from it thats the main thing.
I lost a £10 not once out of my pocket. 6 months later I found a £20 so all was well again.
Well I lost £200, so by your estimation, karma owes me £400?
I can't wait 6 months for this payout, could do with it sometime before the end of the week!!
I don't even have time to go in to the police station tonight because I babysit on a Wednesday night whilst my mum is on a night course at nursing school :-(0 -
In that case you can ring them to make the report. Do you really want this guy to think he can get away with walking off with £200?Well I lost £200, so by your estimation, karma owes me £400?

Just get the times/location/date and give them a call. Don't use the 999 number, there will be a non-emergency number in your phonebook (or search for your local station online)."Every single person has at least one secret that would break your heart. If you are determined to visit the bus station, ask them to retain the tape/ddr and state you are reporting to police as some have a 24hr cycle tomorrow may be too late and all will be lost
Good luck, - use phone and phone the police whilst babysitting0 -
I thought most cash machines are covered by cctv, deffo will be caught on film if your money was taken.0

As people have previously said go to the police or contact your bank. They might get further in trying to contact and gain details from the other bank.
Im sure karma will repay you. I had my wallet stolen whilst at a festival. Lost some cash and had to go through the process of cancelling all cards etc whilst back at the camp. Later that day was walking through city centre and came across a winning betting slip.0 -
atm should be covered by some sort of camera like most today
i do hope you get that back

Speak to your own bank and tell them what cash point you used. Cash points do have a "swallow mechanism" and if a note or notes are left in the cash outlet for too long it basically pulls them back in the machine and drops them into a locked box which the bank can open and find the cash. (At least this is what I was told when I took out £50 and only got £40 and the machine ate the other £10. About 2 days later I was credited back with the other £10).
Hopefully if you speak to your bank and tell them which cash point they used then they can see if the money was put into there. If not then I'm not sure what you can do.0 -
In theory at least it should be possible to identify the person who came after you if he did put his card in the ATM. Even if he cancelled the transaction the bank that owns the ATM will have recorded the card number and it'll be immediately after yours so should be easy to identify. The card number can be used to work out who the card issuer is and they will know who they issued it to. However, there are a myriad of data protection issues here so I would imagine the only way this could be resolved is through a police investigation and maybe even court orders so you'll either be in for a long wait or you'll have to give up on your £200 altogether.0
