If she is considering a Debt management plan then she should only be consulting with one of the charities - IMPORTANT - Where to seek professional impartial advice about your debts. Not someone who is out to make money from her predicament.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

I'm with Tixy - from reading this forum time and time again people have been stung by paying companies to do what charities do for free, and they do it well.
Clarie
PS it might be worth your friend getting her current account with someone not Lloyds, as if she does miss a payment they are within their rights to take the money out of any other accounts they have with her.Debt Free and Proud!0 -

Insofar as the loan and credit card accounts go, if a debt collection company is involved, it may be worth CCAing them.
But she decides what she can comfortably afford as far as the rate of repayments go - not Royds.
And yes, I think she should set up a parachute account with a bank unaffiliated with Royds, and use that one instead.0 -
The Consumer Credit Counselling Service which is a registered charity helped me.
I could not thank them enough for the help and advice I recieved , I now have some light at the end of the tunnel and can sleep and breath easyier.0 -
