Hi all
I like to batch cook but my freezer is quite small so cant go too mad
However someone has offered me a small chest freezer but the only place where it could possibly go would be in the conservatory.
It gets SO SO hot in there during the Summer (and the opposite in the winter, obviously) that I am unsure whether it would be ok out there and if it would cost much more to run as it needed to work harder to keep the food frozen??
Any ideas???
Thanks as ever
Kaz
Obviously the heading should read conservatory and not condervatory!!!!

i keep mine in my garage which ok isn't as bad as the conservatory but mines fine and i've found it acually uses less elec than my old fridge freezer, sure in the summer you'll be able to open all your wondows which will hopefully help, only thing is someone once told me keeping them at odd tempatures reduces there lifespanDEC GC £463.67/£450

It will cost more to run in the summer as it'll have to work harder. In the winter, if the conservatory isn't heated, it will cost less.If we are supposed to be thin, why does chocolate exist?0

But in winter your conservatory will be a bit warmer due to freezer
You can only suck it & see, but I reckon it would be a false economy given the high running costs in summer
Could you maybe just use it from say Sept to May and leave it empty & off in the summer months?Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0
