Printer cartridges

I have a steady flow of office printer cartridges that I usually send back to Hewlett Packard for recycling and have realised that I may be missing out here!

I have looked on boots.com but they dont take the cartridges that I have, does anyone know of anywhere else where I can build up cash or reward points for recycling?

I used catridge express for recycling they used to send out freepost envelopes but for hp ones I put on ebay at 99p and got more than what the recycling people offered and the people that buy them reuse them so still doing some good!

Try printerinks [dot] com (can't post the link properly as I am a new member). They have a loyalty scheme for returning your empties, just like the milkmen of days gone by!

I use a company called 'Empty Cartridge' (http://www.emptycartridge.co.uk/)for my old toners, i then dontate the money that i receive from them to charity.

The recyclers will only take genuines though, not refills. Depending how confident you are, you could try buying a chip-resetter for your carts and refill them yourself.
I used to do this with my old Epson. Saved an absolute fortune.
