tumble drying

Hi all
Just brought some clothes in from the drier and they are full of static.
Does anyone out there know how to make home made bounce sheets - they are expensive but stop all the static in the drier.Any advice would be gratefully received.

Just shaking them get rid of it.. I find the only time mine get static it when they are in too long or there is 1 specific nightie in or microfibre cloths.. could you try having them in less time?

you can get cheaper brands of tumble dryer sheets and cut them up? they can be ued more than once too.. not that I have used them in years.

Hi, Yes its usually down to being in there too long. These a pair of OH's socks which used to cause it here, they are quite thick and I make sure not to tumble these.

Or as Pigpen says, is there a microfibre cloth in there, I've never tumbled these.

I don't use Bounce either, havn't done for years and years. Mind you I don't use the tumble dryer much either :o
