My point was, do you just leave the over 10's to their own devices?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. Sales to FTB's half of 2006/2007 levels.
It's indisputably lending that's the issue.
Very true, it was way to lax in 06/07 so everybody was at it, that mixed with a good amount of FTB's seeing sense and hey presto you get todays levels.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

thats over half what you priced graham
Yes, but I have a linked to where I got my figures from, from a real list of fee's.
All yours is based on is "I recall" "lets say" & "lets call".
I'm gonna do the same. Let's say it actually costs 50% more.
Thats double what you priced ardrock. I suggest you pop over to mumsnet. They will help you with your reality issues.0 -

the price for £80 a week in the holidays is the average price in england (i think its about £60 in wales)
graham not being funny but you can tell your old and don't have a clue whatsoever of the costs of bringing a family up nowadays

Yet this is being disputed in a credible and compelling way.

Doesn't sound so good then.
We bought as a joint couple when we were young and worked hard to reduce the mortgage.
Now we have kids, were a single income but can afford the mortgage with the wife able to stay at home.
Where there's a will, there's a way.
Why should everything be so easy nowadays?
Why does it all have to practically be handed on a plate?
It wasn't in the past..........:wall:

See we have been working hard to get a deposit while young, so won't of been in the house too long before we have children, to which we couldn't afford to drop down to 1 income.
By all means I don't expect it handed to me on a plate, but it would be nice if it was at least as easy as the generation before. Yes I know its not and I am just getting on with it, but as I say it would be nice.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017
