Hi everyone,

So i have do so well to clear my outstanding debts, I have 3 left debts left. One is currently being paid off weekly and the other 2 i am having a night mare trying to find out who the debt is with.

Originally the 2 debts were with Jd Williams, I rang them Last year and they told me the debts were sold to Provident. So I rang them and they said the debts were not with them and there is nothing on the system either.
They checked using various ways and I even emailed and got the same response.

So i tried again with Jd Williams In January and got the same response, again I rang provident and again they told me the same thing. I've even spoke to the manager of our local provident and shes looked into it for me but again nothing in my name is owed to them.

So now I dont know what to do, i have to defaults sitting on my credit file that i'm trying to clear but i cant as no one seems to have the debt.
Could someone help, is there anyway i could get them cleared seeing as I am trying to pay but Jd williams dont see to want my money lol.

Are the defaults still registered in the name of JDwilliams?

Have you tried writing to them to ask for details of the debts? Might even be worth writing to them to dispute the debts and the entries on your credit file (just so that they will start contact with you or to trigger a different debt collector to contact you).

Have you requested your credit file recently? sometimes requesting your file and either updating or just confirming your address can lead to debt collectors starting to write to you.

Hiya,

Yeah ive written to them, and emailed them. On my file its still stating i owe Jd williams the money.

Ive rang them recently as well and nothing. I dont know what else to do to make them give me the details so I can pay it off.

I get my credit file online so am always on there checking things out.

Is there a form I can send to them to request my credit agreement, was hoping this might trigger something?
