tablecloths help

Hi,
I am having real trouble finding tablecloths for my reception.
I am on a very tight budget and have bought a few types of paper ones but they look and feel awful.
I do have some that are linen feel and they are great but the suppiler on ebay has none left.
Any help ladies, didn't think i'd ever be losing sleep over tablecloths

i have 20 @ 140 x 140 really need to be as cheap as possible but may have to spend more than i wanted to

Try contacting any contract dry cleaners in your area....the ones that do laundry for hotels and resturants....sometimes they sell the ex hire stock...in the past ive bought some linen from places like this...its usually not bad quality and a fraction of the price you would pay for it new.

We are using good quality cotton sheets for our tablecloths. You can get percale ones on ebay for about £5 each and then we are putting an organza table runner across them which are about £2 each.

As mentioned, could be a good idea to contact laundry service providers that supply to hotels etc. You might get a discount for ex-hire stuff. I've been recommended Vivienne Gallo by a friend who runs a hotel down south, but I haven't rung up for a quote yet. Best of luck.

wondered if anyone can help looking to cover aprox 12 trestle tables with purple/green (deep/ forest church type colours) so lots material.

I havent had much luck finding bedsheets that come up much cheaper than than buying the pre made items.(was contimplating dying them?) debbiecatal i think mentioned somewherewould be grateful for more details.

wondered if buying orgaqnza maybe cheaper does anyone know what a good price is? or can suggest where to try?

Lots of weddings and partys going on wondered if anyone had any preloved items or could give me any suggestions

We have found sheets on ebay for about £5.99 each - just ordinary ivory single flat sheets. We haven't bought them yet and we are going to ask for a discount for bulk buying before purchasing as we want £15 sheets. We bought our organza runners plus roll from Chair Cover Direct on ebay - she was really cheap and very helpful, sending samples at no cost and searching for an organza roll of the right colour for us. Hope this helps - I will also now try contract dry cleaners for ex hotel stock!
