I may go and look in St Neots the next time I am up that way. I would be interested to see what the difference is between a factory shop and an outlet shop.

The st neots one is great. There is a fab range - all the bags, lots of the pumps, jewllery and kids stuff. I live nearby, but I would recommend a drive.

I am sure you can ring them if you are looking for something specific. They were v v friendly.

Do they have any of the homeware in the factory shop? And do you know what kind of discount from the RRP is it?

I popped in on Friday (on our way back from Center parcs , but we live in Bedford and i'm amazed how close it was and how easy to find, lol!) and was very impressed, staff are friendly and helpful. I got a messenger bag and an apron for £40 total. They have seconds which are reduced a bit more and are non returnable, the labels were clear on those that I saw i.e damaged popper etc.

I will be going back again soon! :j

There is also one at Bicester. There are some good bargains there. Most items don't have massive reductions, but you can get the odd great discount. I got a lovely glove and scarf set for £3.50 (the original price was a lot more).

Bicester Villiage is always good, I've got some good bargains in the CK shop. Its an easy 45 min drive from Hemel.

I've been to the Bicester outlet - it sells ends of ranges or over stocked items at reduced prices. It's not what I'd call a 'factory shop' as the prices are more like shop sale prices, there were no seconds on any of my visits and definitely no rummaging!

In fact the whole Bicester Village outlet was quite 'up market' compared to the local McArthur Glen at Bridgend.

this sounds great ~ does anybody know how much the overnight bags/flight bags would be...I am secretely hoping for a bargain...i love the overnight bag but cant justify £65.00 at the moment!:rotfl:

if anyone has spotted one in the outlets please let me know if its worth the trip over to the shop.

    many thanks
