Mental health charity Mind is running a survey on mental health and debt. The results will help it campaign on issues relating to debt, poverty and mental distress.

It ran this survey three years ago and wants to update its findings and see how things have changed.

How you can help

If you have experienced debt and mental health problems, please complete the Debt & Poverty survey to help Mind continue this vital work. Thanks :)

For more help and guidance, see the MoneySavingExpert.com Mental Health & Debt booklet.

I am glad that this is being taken seriously. Depression - proper depression, as opposed to "I just can't be ar5ed today", is unbearably disabling.

I think they may have fixed any glitches as I've just completed the whole thing - some questions are repeated which is annoying but not a problem.

I can't get past question 11 (75% completed.) I guess they haven't fixed all the glitches.

If I click next on question 11 the same page comes up with my answers for question 11 still ticked but claims it's question 12. If you click next on that page you get the same thing again but claiming to be question 13. Thanks to my obsessiveness I got it all the way up to question 42 before deciding it was a waste of time. It's a shame because they had some good questions in there. I hope they do fix it for anyone else wishing to participate.

Keep going poppet. It WILL get better in time.

If debts are too much, get advice about an IVA or going BR (I got an IVA - horrible at the time but, ultimately, one of the best things I ever did).

But remember that, under all that misery and despair there is STILL the man you once fancied and then fell in love with. HE hasn't gone away - and he can't help what has happened to him.

You sound lovely, and must be a wonderful partner and mother. Good luck to you. I hope you, you partner, and your children go on to do LOTS of lovely things in life.
