as anybody used there vouchers to book a haven holiday??? ive saved just over £700 worth and weve decided to use them to book a freebie holiday next year. on looking in the brocher the hoilday would cost £399 on the website the same holiday would cost £363 so round about the same, but i phoned haven up and asked them for a price and to find out how i go about paying with my vouchers and the same holiday i was told would be £663. i never told them about the cheaper prices just said i would get back to them, is the £663 just part of the parcel because were paying with the tesco coupons do you think?? i know that other holidays such as cosmos will take into consideration any offers that are on and honer these, i take it haven doesnt do this anybody no??? THANKS:o

You need to read the terms and conditions on the clubcard site for the deal you want to find out which of the holiday companies don't penalise you for using clubcard deals. Most of them charge you the full price although I understood this to be the brochure price without any special deals. So unless the brochure price you looked at was reduced in some way, that would normally be the price you pay.0

Yes, The only reduction you can get is the early booking bonus (about £60). Still well worth booking as you are still saving loads using the tesco points. We went last May to Riviere Sands and stayed in a platinum sea view caravan. I can recommend this. The views are wonderful and well worth the money, especially if you have a wet week like we did.If you want to get ahead in the Rat Race then you will need some faster Rats !! :rolleyes:0

I hate it when companies do that. We saved up some for Beamish, thinking we could buy a family ticket with them but no, we had to pay separately for everyone and didn't have enough so you don't really get their full value with some companies.

I've used Haven a few times. I have always paid brochure price and they would take tokens 'instead of cash'.
I am currently saving up again for next summer. Just remember they will only take coupons at the deposit stage. You cannot add more later - so leave it until you get all your deals together. I am waiting until March to book mine - after I get my deals in Feb.

Is the difference accounted for by insurance, leisure passes, equipment rental etc?
We're saving towards deals for the first time this year - also intending to use them with Haven, and whilst I haven't fully added up everything, I know from other firms that these 'bits and pieces' can add up.

Yes are are right. These extras do add up. In our case adding about 25% to our Holiday. However just to confirm that these are charged to everbody. Tesco also do French Life whom we went with last year because they were cheaper than Haven. Might do the same next year - not 100% sure yet!!

I have done this twice, and they matched the web price both times (well, £20 out on the second time!)
Try again in a few days and see what you get - perhaps someone different may produce different results!!0
