Unisex annuities and GAD rates for income drawdown

"European judges have ruled it is illegal for insurers to offer different prices to men and women.
The change will come into full force in December 2012, in a decision that has been branded "ludicrous".
Will this ruling affect the GAD cap for income drawdown?

    Presumably it will if annuity rates change.

    Still any benefit for the ladies will probably be cancelled by motor insurance premium increases.
