Double Nectar Points on Yahoo Toolbar

Hi everyone, if you use the Nectar / Yahoo toolbar, they are offering DOUBLE points for your searches through March (max 100 points, usually max 50 points!)

if you don't already use the toolbar, they're offering 200 points for installing it! (usually 100)

Thanks to aldredd for this. The toolbar's only compatible with Firefox and Internet Explorer and you must have a valid Nectar card to get the offer. If you get the full 200pts for installing, then further 100pts for your searches, that equates to about £1.50 of Nectar rewards (though you need min. £2.50 to redeem!). the 100 points go on within about 4 days but the 200 bonus points it says on nectar within 28 days.

How long do I have to keep the toolbar before uninstalling it?

I wondered this, as it's rather unslightly, but I can't find any info.

Having said that, if you use Firefox you can simply 'disable' it in Tools>Add-ons so it doesn't show.

Don't know for sure, but I think you can uninstall straight away - but the points clock does re-set each month, so may be worth keeping hold of.
for me, I don't usually use FF, as I use Google Chrome, but keep FF installed for the occasional compatibility issue, so it doesn't really bother me - which is good, as I generally hate these add-on toolbars!
