Reduced cctv in Woolies

Spotted some reduced cctv kits in Woolies today, half price, in fact. Single camera system is now £40, and two camera, £60. Comes with dinky monitor, which can be connected to video recorder, and I think it is wireless, ie no connecting wires trailing around the house. Question is, is it any good? They may be fine for baby monitors, but are they adequate for covering the garden and front of the house, especially at night, of course.
Does anyone have any experience of low-end systems, and could give an opinion? On the face of it, they are a bargain, and a very reassuring tool to have in the fight against crime and vandalism, but only if they are effective, of course, otherwise it's £60 wasted.

they are good enough for the garden etc , but bear in mind they are not totally wireless ! you still have to run a power source to them"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page."
happy travels !!

If your after a single cheap camera that uses a regular tv to view the picture from a high street retailer then I don't think you'll get any cheaper than the one from Lloyds Pharmacy

Think their was a thread on the Lloyds pharmacy cctv and apparantly they are very poor quality but for £10 you cannot expect much0
